What will I get from this book? The book is meant as a guide and helping hand in the job as a flight attendant working on private and corporate jets throughout the world. It begins with explaining some of the terms used in the industry such as FBO, catering, management company and so on. From there it starts with what to do the days before your first flight, what to do on the day of the flight, things to remember, things to buy and order, where to meet the other crew members, how to prepare the aircraft, how to organise the galley, preparing the cabin, meeting the passengers, everything required for a successful in-flight service, looking after the passengers, tidying up the cabin and galley post flight and getting to your hotel. On top of helping you through the actual day on the job it also has chapters briefly introducing you to knowledge about wines, gourmet foods, food allergies to be aware of, different requirements for different cultures and religions. There is 10 pages of checklists included for every step of the day to help you remember everything has been done during your pre-flight preparation, the meet & greet, the in-flight service, post-flight and so on. There are chapters on drinks making, food presentation, suitcase essentials, lessons learnt & tips + tricks and much more. It's over 120 pages of knowledge we all wish we had when we started many years ago.
